Deviation Actions
Well, it looks like I am going to be out of Internet for at least a week. If you are seeing this message (on Facebook or on Deviant Art, which are the only two places I know of where people read anything on my whereabouts or status), it means I found a connection to pinch, probably while eating fast food of some kind. (I typed this up ahead of time to post).
As it turns out, my household fell into one of those little timing-and-bills-and-budgets thing where some resources are more important than others. Also, we realized we were getting ripped-off by the company we had for Internet and decided to pull up stakes and try another. The only thing that has kept us from doing this before is a worry about what kind of hardware installations our landlord would approve of. We found out that Fios (a service we used to like when we lived elsewhere) actually does have a plan that is un-obtrusive on the hardware (we hope). The problem is, the installation-people are slated to visit us a full week from now, so we cannot get up and running right away.
The really annoying thing is that our TV is out, too, and if we want the inexpensive service without the weird hardware, we are basically going to have to do without.
