Mussel Shell Jewelry by Shadsie Mussel Shell Jewelry by Shadsie
Bracelets and necklaces made with freshwater mussel shells. I gathered the shells from the shores of Neshaminy Creek and did quite a lot of work polishing them. Not sure of the species, but I think they're probably zebra mussels - an invasive pest species that's known for clogging up hydroelectric dams.

I'm not posting these to Etsy.com because - everything I have on my space there got posted before they enacted fees. Right now, even a small fee is not something I can afford. If you wish to purchase any of these pieces, please contact me via e-mail shadsieblue@yahoo.com and wel will set up payment and shipping plans.

You may also AIM me on "Shadise Saverem"

I'd like to sell the necklaces for $20 a piece and the bracelets for $15, plus shipping, but I'm willing to be haggled with.

I've gathered more shells that I need to polish up, so there will be more than just these pieces. You may custom order, as well. Keep in mind that the shells themselves are unique in shape, one-of-a-kinds by nature, but you may specify "large shell, small shell... blue beading..." ect.

Lake Erie doesn't contain clams.and by the shape they don't look like zebra mussel either

Those are really pretty. u did a wonderful job ^^. and polishing the shells must have taken a while
but i don't think they're zebra mussles (zebra mussles are pretty small and are stipped, plus they're a different shape)
